Kirsten Dunn
Azelea Storytelling Director
kdunn@lsparts.org; 706.882.9909

Originally from Woodstock, GA, Kirsten has been a resident of the lower Chattahoochee Valley
since 2006, where she attended Columbus State University and received her Bachelor of Fine
Arts degree. After college, Kirsten worked in a variety of community roles, most notably at
the Columbus Museum as the Community Outreach and Volunteer Manager. This allowed her
to work within the local community to provide education about American art and the history of the region to different groups, such as Boys and Girls Club, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of America, school groups, adults with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease, and many more.  The Arts are something she is very passionate about and enjoys sharing with others in all its forms, but she holds a particular fondness for painting.

In 2019, Kirsten and her family moved to West Point, GA where she pursued a career as a
Voice-over artist, narrating projects such as audiobooks, commercials, and corporate training
videos from her home studio. One of her ambitions is to one day be the voice for a character in
a video game franchise and anime series.

Kirsten is also a big advocate for volunteer work and previously served as Treasurer for the Tri-
County Directors of Volunteer Services and Co-Chair of the Craft Committee for the
Chattahoochee Library’s Fall Festival. As the Volunteer Manager at the Columbus Museum,
Kirsten oversaw the training and maintenance of over 300 volunteers and interns, as well
as organizing their annual volunteer trip and recognition ceremony. Since moving to West Point
she has assisted the local Senior Life Center as an art instructor, providing monthly classes and
workshops for its patrons.

Her other hobbies and interests include working in her garden, baking different confections,
playing video games, and hiking with her husband, Josh, and son, August. She also shares their
home with their two goofy labradoodles (Fozzie and Dolly) and two saucy cats (Kiba and Bee)
that run the residence behind the scenes.
